Sanatec Environmental always has the right equipment for the job when it comes to sewer cleaning and inspection.  Our jetting units consist of combination units capable of jetting and vacuuming in one compact unit and also straight jetter trucks used with a separate vacuum truck.  These are capable of carrying and pumping higher volumes of water and debris than the combo units. We utilize this system for cleaning larger or extremely dirty lines. This process also provides a safety advantage where overhead powerline concerns exist.  In addition, and where practical, we utilize a water truck to keep a constant water supply available to our jetters in order to keep them working nonstop, greatly improving our efficiency.  Our jetters are equipped with a range of different nozzles to tackle any kind of blockage or cleaning task.  Our general use nozzles are rated at Tier 3, the highest rating for jetting nozzles from NASSCO.  Using these methods, tools, and equipment cleaning of most sanitary lines can be accomplished in two passes or less.

Also included in our service are our flushing logs, maintained by our crews for each line cleaned. These outline when the line was cleaned, what debris/materials were removed, the number of jetting passes performed and what type of jet nozzle was used.  These have been found to provide asset managers with remarkable knowledge of their system and will be a significant reference tool in the years to come.

Further to traditional jetting heads, we also have available for use the “jet-scan” nozzle.  This nozzle provides a quick-view video record of the pipe interior.  While it does not provide pan/tilt and coding inspection videos it is an excellent tool for quick identifications of problem areas or video inspection of pipe lengths inaccessible to traditional crawler cameras.  Use of this nozzle incurs a small fee over and above the jet truck rates.

Our CCTV inspection units utilize CUES cameras with wheeled crawlers and GraniteNet software to provide coding, observation photos and various standard and customized sewer reports, all to NASSCO/PACP specifications.  GraniteNet software can fully integrate with most GIS solutions creating an easy access and user friendly database for asset managers.  Our camera units are able to traverse pipelines over 250 metres in length and can provide a centered view in pipe diameters ranging from 150mm to 900mm and up to 1,800mm without camera centered.

Working together in standard conditions a single Sanatec jetting and inspection crew can average over 750 metres cleaned and inspected each day.
